OSL mentorship program 2026

(above Lucy Junked ) photo cred regional sessions: THIS YEAR  2026  we were able to send local new and emerging rural artists to  the APRA AMCOS regional sessions in Port Macquarie all expenses paid .We offered them  professional EPK building support , a professional photo shoot and tailored individual one on one sessions to meet them where they were at in their development . thanks to the SEATON FOUNDATION for making that possible . During the program  each mentee was offered paid performance opportunities with OSL and at their own requests we tailored options for free community offerings showing a clear flow on effect and community benefits.

We took members of our mentorship program to attend Media training at our local commercial radio station under the guidance of our founder and director PAM HATA who also continues to hold regular music catch ups on Mondays to assist local musos with internet access to complete their admin and better understand APRA AMCOS registrations and reporting a key aspect of earing income in music

We are deeply grateful to Ready Communities for the Community Impact Conference initiative. It was a genuine honor to program the entertainment for the event, and we are incredibly thankful to have been awarded $10,000 through the grant—awarded without application.

We reinvested every dollar directly back into our community to support the development of new and emerging artists. Thanks to that seed funding from the Seaton Foundation, those artists are now seeing the success they’ve worked so hard for. You can catch their new releases, tour dates, and one of them will be performing with Tones and I this year at the Deni Ute Muster. Congratulations, Ell—we couldn’t be prouder.

Established in 2017 by independent singer-songwriter PAM HATA and a community of passionate artists and venues, Original Sound Lounge was born from a vision to foster artistic growth and success. From humble beginnings, our team of industry experts and dedicated volunteers has expanded across rural NSW, committed to showcasing innovative, grassroots music to diverse audiences. Now expanded to include the North coast of NSW OSL continues to grow guided by integrity and a pursuit of excellence. we strive to deliver exceptional experiences that elevate artists and enrich our community.
